I saved an invoice, the system logged me out, now i can't locate it... where could it be?

Greetings, @ammaservicesgrou.

It's nice to see you here in the Community. I can help you locate the invoice that you've saved in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

You can use the Audit Log feature to locate the invoice that you've saved. Here's how:

1. Click the Gear icon at the top, then pick Audit Log under Tools column.
2. From the Filter drop-down, change the Date to Today.
3. Select Apply.
4. Locate the invoice then click View under HISTORY column.

For your reference, you may check out this article for more information about the Audit Log feature: View audit logs in QuickBooks Online.

That should do it! Please me know how it goes or if I can be of additional help. Don't hesitate to post again or leave a comment below if you have any follow-up questions. Take care.

I appreciate sharing to us the result after following the steps shared by my colleagues. Let’s open the Invoice List Report to look for the missing entry. Here's how:

  1. Tap the Reports menu and then enter the Invoice List Report in the Find report by name field.
  2. Choose the correct date range by clicking the Report period drop-down. The reporting period also affect how the data are displayed.
  3. If you want to refine the information displayed, hit the Customize button.
  4. Once done, click on Run Report.

However, if you’re still unable to find the invoice, the Search for transactions article contains detailed instructions on how to easily look for it in QBO.
