Is the esignature that hard to incorporate into the estimates and invoices?

Hey there, @dmitriy-p-gula.

As of right now, this option isn't available in the web browser version of QuickBooks Online. However, you can do this with the mobile app.

Here's how:

  1. Open a new or existing estimate or invoice.
  2. Add any transaction info.
  3. Select Get Signature.
  4. Let your customers sign with their finger.
  5. Select Done or Save.

You can also check out third-party applications about electronic signatures. Feel free to reply back to this thread if you have further questions. I'll be here to help you every step of the way.

This only works in person.

We, your customers, need a remote solution.

Given how big Inuit is, it's really surprising that this is not already available. I mean there's not even a native integration with DocuSign. As a new user, I'm disappointed that we didn't ask about this issue before jumping onboard.

@Rafael_Solar

Explore this app for creating estimate/invoicing with more features including signature, then integrate it with your QBO.

Hope it helps.

I'm happy to see you here in the Community, @Lopezjayj.

Let me share some updates regarding your concern about having e-signature on sales forms in QuickBooks Online.

At this time, the system only allows you to utilize the Message field in the template so you can add a signature manually. Please see the snip attached on how to enter your desired information on the said field:

On the other hand, you can also customize the message by editing the template from the Custom form styles section.

Here's how:

  1. On an Invoice page, click Customize at the bottom.
  2. Select Edit current to customized the checked template.
  3. Click the Content bar and click the lowest section of the previewed invoice on the right side.
  4. Enter Received by: in the message box.

To add up, you can always read through this link, which talks about customizing your sales forms in QBO depending on the data that you need: Learn how to personalize and add specific info to sales forms.

Moreover, you may also consider checking for a third-party application that integrates with QuickBooks and supports this functionality. Please follow the steps shared by my peer above on how to look for an app.

Lastly, know that our developers are constantly considering new features to be added to the system and cope with your business needs. I'd encourage you to visit our QuickBooks Blog to stay updated with all the changes in the program that are being made.

I'm just a reply away if there's anything else that I can assist you with, @Lopezjayj. Keep safe!

Another app to create estimate or invoice with signature.

While it is nice to be able to customize text at the bottom of my invoices, I would definitely love to see Quickbooks implement new features that can allow for contactless Customer signatures. This is something that would've been useful prior to COVID19, even more so now. This can be a dealbreaker!

I know how convenient the feature is to businesses, Lopezjayj.

We're taking notes of our users' insights and ideas. I suggest sending feedback directly to our software engineers. Let me walk you through:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.

The more request it has, the more likely it'll be added in the next update.

In the meantime, you can follow BettyJaneB's suggestion as a workaround.

If there's anything else that you need, don't hesitate to let us know. We're right here to help you. Keep safe!

But how can I print or email the estimate or invoice with the signature visible?
