Is there a way to send a batch of invoices (going to the same email address) that can all be attached in one single email?

A client is requesting one email with all of our monthly invoices attached to it.

Is there a way to send a batch of invoices (going to the same email address) that can all be attached in one single email?

Hello there, lindseyy.

As of the moment, there's no option to send a batch of invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO) that can be attached in a single email. As a workaround, you can download and send them outside of QuickBooks.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Sales and select Invoices.
  2. Filter the Date and tick the box you prefer to download.
  3. Hover to the Batch actions dropdown, then select Print.
  4. Click the download icon and save it to your local drive.

Also, I've added a screenshot for your visual reference.

After that, you can send all the monthly invoices directly to your client using your personal email.

In addition, you can check out this article to learn how to personalize and add specific info to your sales forms: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QBO.

I'll keep an eye out for your reply. If you have further questions about managing your invoices or any QuickBooks-related concerns, feel free to include them in the comments. We're here to assist you 24/7.

@IrishNinoJ I have tried this and when I hover or click on Batch Actions, nothing happens.  It will not allow me to select anything.  The drop down arrow does not work.  Any suggestions?

On QuickBooks Online Advanced, All Sales, Invoices, Custom Dates (4/15/2025 to 4/15/2025), the Batch actions dropdown menu does not respond. The Batch action is in light green. I cleared the cache in the Safari browser on a Mac Mini Pro M4. There are 465 invoices to email, so I prefer to do this by batch instead of individually by account. Has the Batch actions function been disabled?

Thank you for joining this thread, GaryCPA. I appreciate your efforts in troubleshooting the browser issue on your end. I've tested the Batch Action function here, and it appears to be functioning correctly. When sending invoices in batch, make sure to select the transactions first, as this will enable the Batch Action button. I'm here to assist you in sending your multiple invoices simultaneously.

Please follow these steps to send multiple invoices at once:

  1. Go to the Sales menu.
  2. Click on the Invoices tab.
  3. Apply the appropriate filters for Type, Date, and Customer.
  4. Select the invoices you wish to send in batch.
  5. Hit Send to execute the batch-sending process.

For more detailed instructions, refer to this article: Create and send multiple invoices in QuickBooks Online Advanced.

If the issue persists, I recommend you try using another supported browser to perform the batch sending of invoices.

Once your invoices are successfully sent out, you can move on to receiving payments. Here’s a useful article to guide you on how to record these payments: Record Invoice Payments

You can change the email address for sending invoices in QuickBooks Online by editing the recipient's email address, ShepardSigns.

Here's what you'll need to do:

  1. On the Invoice page, edit the email address below the customers name.

  2. Enter the other necessary info.
  3. Choose Review and send.

You can also visit the customer's profile to update the email address. Here's how:

  1. On the Customers page, locate and select the customer.
  2. Click the Edit button.
  3. In the Name and contact section, change the email address being set up.

  4. Click Save when done.

If you are still unable to change the email address, I recommend accessing your QuickBooks Online account using incognito mode or a private window to rule out any cache issues.

Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Press Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Press Command Option (Safari).

Once you are logged in, create an invoice and change the email address. If you encounter no issues, clear the cache in your default browser. If problems persist, try switching to a different browser, such as Firefox, Google Chrome, or Safari, as your current browser may be experiencing temporary issues with QuickBooks.
