Just switched to online QB...WHERE IS VENDOR LIST?

In the online version there is no such thing as a "vendor list" which you can prove by accessing All Lists from the gear icon upper right.

You will, however, access the Vendor "Center" from the Expenses section in the left hand banner.

I have looked at the Vendor Center from the Expense section - and there are no vendors showing??  However, I have Vendors entered into the system.  Why are they not showing up in the Vendor Center?

We can perform basic browser troubleshooting to fix the issue. It could be that the stored cache and cookies in the system are the reason why you're having issues accessing vendors. 

We can start by accessing your QuickBooks account through a private/incognito browser. Feel free to use these shortcut keys:
 

• Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
• Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
• Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N

Once you're in, let's go to the Expense section to check your vendors. If we're able view them, we'll need to go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to get rid of the junk files and site data.

If the issue persists, we can use other supported browsers. It could be that the one you're currently using right now has a temporary problem with QuickBooks Online.

I know this is an old thread, but I think I have a solution for you.

In the Business View (this might be default view at first) there is no Expense menu item at left.

To switch to Accountant View:

--click the settings / gear button

--in the window with the four lists, under the Profile list, in the very bottom right corner of that window, is an option in blue font to 'Switch to Accountant View' - click that.

It's SO much better to have a Vendor center in the Accountant View - whew!
