My account is set to send emails from my company Gmail, but when I send payment reminders or multiple invoices in one email, it reverts to quickbooks@notification.com ?

I would like to set my account so ALL emails come from my company Gmail account.

The option to send multiple invoices using a Gmail address is currently unavailable. That's why QuickBooks the email address reverting to quickbooks@notification.com. As a workaround, you'll want to open each invoice and send it using the Gmail address.

 

I can see that this option is a great idea to improve the software. For now, I encourage submitting feedback directly to our product engineers. They may look into this suggestion and consider adding the option in the future update. To send feedback, you can go to the Gear icon and select Feedback. Then, enter your suggestion and click Submit.

Reminders can be sent to customers either automatically or manually. Automatic email reminders are applied immediately to all new invoices. However, you can manually send a reminder to the customer with just one invoice.

 

Here's how you send invoice reminders manually:

 

  1. On the left menu, select Sales.
  2. Go to Invoices and locate the customer's name you want to send a reminder.
  3. Click on More actions and select Send reminder.
  4. Fill in all the details and click Send

Thank you, I understand how to send the reminders. My question was, is it possible to change who those reminder emails are coming from? Our invoices are configured to send from our gmail address, but these reminders are sent from [email address removed]. I'd like to configure them to send from our gmail address.

Thank you for the clarification. I'm here to guide you on how to configure your invoice reminders to send from your Gmail address. It's easy and only takes a few steps.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Navigate to the Sales menu.
  2. Go to Invoices and locate the customer's invoice.
  3. Click the dropdown arrow ▼ under the Action column and choose Send reminder.
  4. Select the From ▼ dropdown.
  5. Click Add Gmail address, then Connect Google account.
  6. Sign in to your Google account.
  7. Select Allow. Your Gmail address now appears in the From field.
  8. Hit Send.

 

Take note that you can only connect one Gmail address. If you wish to remove it, follow these steps:

 

  1. Create an invoice or open an existing one.
  2. Once you fill out the necessary fields, select Save and send.
  3. Above the customer’s email, select the From ▼ dropdown.
  4. Select Remove Gmail address.

Thank you! I was in Customers and clicking the arrow next to the overdue invoices and selecting Send Reminder. This method did not allow me to change the send from address.
