Paycheck and Paystub print alignment on Quickbooks Pro 2018 Desktop w/enhanced payroll

My checks and pay stubs seem like they are formatted for a smaller size than standard pre-printed checks or 8.5" x 11"letter size paper. I have searched Q&As but they seem to show that there is the option to change scaling to fit print area. I'm not offered that option.  I can change which printer to print to, printer type (continuous, page oriented, or label printer), and the option of printing landscape or portrait. I have tried different printers, and both orientations but neither worked. I did try to modify alignment but shifting it as far to the left as possible still did not fix the situation. Previewing the checks it's like the checks and stubs are formatted for a smaller sheet size.

Paycheck and Paystub print alignment on Quickbooks Pro 2018 Desktop w/enhanced payroll

Hi PawnshopScott,

Based on the details you mentioned, I can tell that you know how to troubleshoot issues when printing checks. We do these things as well. However, we can’t vouch for a good printing results for check forms that do not come from us. But, it doesn’t mean we can’t use check forms from other Suppliers since we have a lot of clients that use their forms.

I would recommend requesting for callback or chatting with our Support to see all the things we can do for you. They might request to view your screen to see your setup.

  1. From the Help menu, choose QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Choose Contact Us at the bottom.
  3. In the description field, enter a summary of the help you need.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Choose Chat or Talk to a specialist.

You may want to check with our Checks and Supplies Department if you want to consider ordering checks forms from us.

Let me know if you have other questions in mind.
