I can help you isolate unexpected behaviors within QuickBooks Online, crossroadsbiryan.

There are times that the browser is full of frequently-accessed page resources, thus causing websites, like QuickBooks Online (QBO), to have unusual responses. You can try logging into your QBO account using a private browser. To use a private browser, here's how:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

Then, create and save the Bill again. If this works, it means that you need to clear your browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result while using a private browser, I recommend switching to a different browser.

Here are a few resources that can help you manage your vendor transactions:

Thanks for your reply.

I use my QB App on my mobile and upload receipts, that is quick for me.

The App was working earlier fine, not sure since last week any updates or code changes have been occured and causing this issue.

I use only Laptop and Chrome browser to review the transactions but not to add any expenses. Hope you understand my issue now.

Thanks for the additional information, crossroadsbiryan.

Have tried entering a bill using the browser? This way, I can identify if it's a system issue or the device you're using.

Meantime, we can troubleshoot the app by clearing the app's data. Here's how:

Android

  1. From More Options ⋮, select Settings.
  2. Select Refresh Data.
  3. Click Yes.

iOS

  1. From the Menu ☰, select Help & Feedback.
  2. Click Refresh Data.
  3. Then, select Refresh

After clearing the data, you can try creating a bill again. If the same thing happens, you can uninstall and reinstall the app. Doing these processes will not affect save data.
