I'm trying to record a sales tax payment too. I can't even find the "sales tax center" and when I go to the "Taxes" item in the left list, there is no option like what you mention. I was on chat for hours and then disconnected and never got a call back. I'm more than frustrated at this point.

I am attempting to record sales tax payments from 2019, however in the sales tax center it will only allow me to go back to August, 2019. The liabilities were created on the sales receipts for the entire year, but I am unable to record the payments for Jan - Jul. Does anyone know how to solve this?
I'm also having a similar problem, "Select the tax agency you're recording the payment for in the Sales Tax Owed list." doesn't seem to exist. There's no list.

There's no green button to record tax payment.

It seems like the reason you're unable to record the sales tax payment in software is because your tax payment has not reached its due date yet. You can only record a sales tax payment when the tax is officially due. If the tax status is currently listed as Open, this indicates it isn't due right now, and thus the system will not allow you to record the payment. You'll need to wait until the status changes to Due to proceed with the recording.

Alternatively, if the tax payment is overdue and there is no button to record the payment, we can troubleshoot the issue by accessing your account in an incognito window. Occasionally, the browser retains regularly accessed data, and unusual behaviors in any online platform, including QBO, result in a data issue with your browser.
