When I enter a payment for an invoice, it shows Overdue on the home screen, but if I select the invoice it shows as paid. This started just last month. Frustrating.

Thanks for posting to the Community, @derek19.

The browser may be loaded with internet file processes that make invoices in QBO appears as overdue though it's paid. I'd suggest using an incognito/private browser to check if this a browser-related issue.

Also, private browsing mode prevents internet files that make QBO acquire this behavior.

Open a supported browser and here is the keyboard shortcut to open a private browser to sign with QBO:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

If this fixes the issue, you can clear your regular browser's cache so your browsing history can download fresh pieces of data and information. Otherwise, use another supported browser.

If the issue persists, I recommend reaching our Care Support team. They can pull up your account with their backend tools. Also, they can create a case and investigate it further.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks.
  2. Go to Help on the top right.
  3. Enter "Talk to a human" and then type your query like "overdue invoices".
  4. Click I still need a human.
  5. Hit Contact Us.

I do 99.9% of my QBO on iphone on the app. It's worked fine since 2012 and all of sudden last month it's not linking.

Thanks for your prompt response, @derek19.

Let's solve this all at once by performing some troubleshooting steps. Below are the following solutions that you can do:

  • Restart your phone and launch the app again.
  • Update your phone's operating system.
  • Uninstall/Reinstall the app.

If the same issue persists, you can log in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using the web browser on your device. Check out the Compatible QuickBooks Online access for mobile devices to know what browser you need.

Also, I'll be sharing this article: Troubleshooting Quick-Start Guide for the QuickBooks Online app for other troubleshooting steps to fix most app-related issues.

If you're getting the same result, please refer to the steps I've shared above to contact support.
