There are a lot of posts here like this. I suspect Intuit didn't sent them out, or didn't until the last minute.
Let's check why the contractors didn't receive their 1099, snyder.
I understand that receiving the 1099 form is crucial for contractors. We want to ensure that you receive the form promptly, so please be aware that it may take up to 7 business days for the form to reach you. I submitted on 01/22 and not one contractor has received their 1099's yet! I may lose my job over this. What is going on? Can I get something in writing?
Thank you for posting your 1099 concern here in the Community, Kenny.
I acknowledge that you have submitted the 1099 forms in QuickBooks Online (QBO) on time.
Receiving the 1099 form varies if you choose mail or email. If you've submitted the form electronically, it will be sent to your contractors when the status of acceptance is displayed on the 1099 Filings tab. Therefore, ensure that the information you provide on your forms is correct contractor's email address is correct.
On the contrary, if you've submitted them manually, it'll take seven to ten business days from the date your 1099s are mailed or postmarked.
I assure you that QuickBooks will send a copy of the 1099 form to your
contractor's address via UPS starting on January 31st. However, the delivery time may vary depending on the contractor's location. If you need to send forms to your contractors quickly, you can manually
print or download them from QuickBooks and send them outside the platform.

1099 was filed January 21 and now February 10th all contractors are calling me where their 1099?
Hey there, derias2. I'm here to share some insights regarding 1099s.
Receiving the 1099 form will depend if you choose mail or email. If you choose to e-file your form, it will be sent to your contractors after the status Accepted appears in your 1099 filings tab. Your suppliers or contractors will receive the data you submit on your forms without any issues if it is accurate. Thus, ensure that the email address of your vendor is accurate for them to receive the form.
In addition, you can also see the status of the filed 1099 forms or manually print and send a copy of 1099s to your contractors by following these steps:
On the other hand, if you file your 1099s manually, please know that this will take 7-10 business days from the date it was mailed out or postmarked. The time it takes for it to be sorted and delivered can vary depending on some factors, including the distance it has to travel, and the volume of mail being processed.
Alternatively, you can print a copy of their 1099 and manually send it to them or reach out to the IRS. But before contacting them, check if the status of your filed forms indicates mail or mail. You can check them within the Taxes menu under the Status column.

Ugh, I'm having this same problem too. This is my first year electronically filing 1099s and not a single contractor received an email or a mailed copy. It is now February 12. This service is a SCAM. What Quickbooks is doing can't be legal. If there's an issue, they should send out an email making people aware of this issue. Instead, you just get canned responses that don't answer the simple question of why aren't 1099s being mailed? This is beyond frustrating. I'm now having to download PDFs and send them each via email.
Yes, there are many posters here who have reported the same thing. I suspect Intuit sent some out, or they wouldn't be here claiming they sent them (well, maybe...), but that something has gone wrong and they somehow missed a lot of customers' 1099s.
@Irene R RE: I assure you that QuickBooks will send a copy of the 1099 form to your contractor's address via UPS starting on January 31st. However, the delivery time may vary depending on the contractor's location.
Starting on January 31st? That's the deadline when they should all be mailed, not when you start mailing them: https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-reminder-jan-31-filing-deadline-for-employers-to-file-wage-statemen...
UPS does not take 12 days to deliver an envelope, no mater where you sent it from or where the contractor's location is. The logical conclusion is that Intuit either didn't send them on time or didn't send them at all due to a technical error.
It's USPS, not UPS that they are blaming for this, so that should get the IRS's attention even more that they are blaming the govenemnent. They also told me in writing that all mine were mailed out the day I submitted them on Jan 22nd and still not one single person has received them, even myself included.
RE: UPS -> USPS
Oh. The rep above wrote UPS and I took that at face value as being true. Silly me!
But, same thing. The USPS doesn't take ~10 days to deliver an envelope either, in most cases.
