Why is my customer payment still pending

Thanks for coming here with us, cecils913.

The Pending status of your customer payment means that Intuit have already sent transactions to your account for funding. The status will not become Funded until your bank declares it as cleared.

For more insights about the different status of your funds, here's a good article made handy for you: Search for deposits in the Merchant Service Center.

Also, it takes approximately 1-5 business days for the funds to reach your bank account. Apart from that, there are a few factors affecting the funding time. It can be the time of day you enter transactions or your chosen financial institution as to how long it takes for them to verify and process electronic deposits.

I've got more additional references to learn more about how deposits works in QuickBooks Payments:

If the payment wasn't deposit yet on the said period, I suggest reaching out with our Merchant Services Support to check and investigate this further for you.

You can find me here if you have other questions. I'm always willing to help. You take care and have a good one.

Why is my customer payment still pending

All my paid invoices, in transactions since Tuesday...say Pending. I didn't get a "money on the Way" email yesterday but received a deposit from QBSE this morning.  I can't figure out why all of this pending or at least the ones from 6-23-21 haven't changed to Funded.  I can't find where I can ask someone

Why is my customer payment still pending

Hello there, mrsrampani.

I'd like to share some details about the funding time in processing customer payments.

For new users, the deposit will take up to 5 business days while we set up your account. After that, the processing time will be reduced.

Keep in mind, some of the banks hold onto the funds after we deposit them. You can contact your bank and ask if they require any additional steps to complete the transaction. If you already checked with your bank but still need help you can reach our support team to help you verify the deposit status.

Here's how:

  1. Log  in to your QuickBooks.
  2. Select Help (?) at the top right.
  3. Click on Contact Us.
  4. Enter your concern, then select Let's talk.
  5. Select Start a chat with a support expert.

I've added this article for more information about the deposit time: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments

Also, check out this link for commonly asked payment questions that you can use as a future reference.

Let me know if you still have questions or clarifications about payments. I'll keep an eye on your response. Have a great day.

Why is my customer payment still pending

I have three “Pending deposits”    The dates of these are in July.    It’s now September.    However all of them seem to have been deposited.   I just noticed today they are still in the pending deposits category.   Thanks for your help.

I can share some information to help you get your customer payments, @DPARENT.

Usually, QuickBooks deposits customer payments into your bank account within 5 business days for new users. Payments before 3:00 PM (PST), should be in your bank account in 2 business days. If you process payments after 3:00 PM (PST), we'll start the deposit the following business day.

For more information about processing customer payments and how long it takes to post in your bank account, refer to this article: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.

Since you've mentioned that these transactions are from July, I suggest reaching to our Payments Support team to help you trace this payment using their tools in a secure environment.

You can get their phone number or chat with them by going to this article: Contact Payments or Point of Sale Support

Then, add this transaction manually to recognize it as an income. Check out this article for detailed guidance:  Manually add transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed. Or categorize this transaction right away if the bank is connected to your QBSE account from your Transactions page as Business Income.

Please let me know if you have any questions about your deposits in QuickBooks. Let me know in the Reply section below. Keep safe and enjoy the rest of the day!
