On the desktop version, how to I remove a partner who is no longer part of the business so their equity no longer shows up in reports?

If you've added this as a user, you can go to your Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPs) to delete or remove them from your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) account.
Only the Primary Contact has permission to remove a user from your Manage your QuickBooks page. Follow the steps below:

To remove their equity from your reports, I suggest adding a journal entry. Then, I suggest consulting an accountant for guidance with the best debit and credit accounts to use. Check the following steps:

That didn't seem to fix the issue or I am not doing it correctly. I am not quite sure how it was setup since I did not do it.
