Just found out we reached our tag limit of 300. We use tags to track our referral sources, since QBO has no other way to track our referrals and get a referral report. Has anyone else used some other way to track referrals in QBO?
1. Why is there a tag limit?
2. How are we supposed to track our referrals with such a low tag limit?

Given your situation, I recommend exploring third-party apps that integrate with QBO and provide more comprehensive referral-tracking capabilities.
To look for a third-party app, here's the detailed steps:

That is really not a solution. Basically there is no way in QBO to track referral sources. QB Desktop had a very easy way to do this. The tag reporting and the 300 limit is sub par for a very easy fix that QB Desktop already in place. Too bad you are getting away from the desktop version as it was a much better accounting software.
