Using QBO with desktop app and can not log into a customer account. The circle keeps turning and says "We're fetching your data".

Using QBO with desktop app and can not log into a customer account. The circle keeps turning and says "We're fetching your data".

This occurs if you've recently changed your account password or if your app's local data cache is corrupt.


You can clear the Windows App's Cache. This can help resolve the error you've encountered. Let me show you the steps:

 

  1. Click Help on the navigation bar at the top.
  2. Select Reset App Data.
  3. Allow a moment for the process to complete, and then close the app.


If the steps above still don't make a difference, I recommend doing a full reinstall of the program. You can refer to this guide for the uninstalling process since the App varies based on which version of windows you’re using.
