We requested to export our 2020 to current data from QB Online to QB Desktop. We received an email that the file had been completed and was in the task or to do items. Tries to fine the file and there is nothing there....
Here is the email we received:

I appreciate you for attaching the email you've received from our support. I'll designate you where the task or to-do item is located in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
You can see the Task option by going to the Dashboard. See the screenshot below for your guidance:
If you're still unable to see it, I'd recommend performing fundamental troubleshooting steps first to isolate the dilemma. Stored cache files on your browser can sometimes cause this to happen.
To start, please access your account via incognito. These browsers won't save any browsing histories.
Feel free to use these shortcut keys:
Once logged in, double-check the Task option. If it's visible, you can now download the data by following the on-screen instructions. If it's working fine, we'll have to go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to eliminate the junk files. Using other supported browsers is a good alternative too.
If the issue persists, I'd advise exporting the file again without using the task feature. Please follow the steps below.
Please note that importing process won't bring over the transactions associated with your clients, only the current open balances. That said, you'll need to export all the remaining data. Allow me to step in and provide you clarifications with regards to your backup concern and locating the Task or To Do item in QuickBooks.
Yes, you're right. Not all subscription types in QuickBooks Online can perform a backup. This feature is only available for the Advance subscription of QuickBooks. This is why you're unable to see it in the TOOLS section.

If you already performed the troubleshooting steps suggested above and still unable to find the Task or To Do item, I'd recommend reaching out to our Customer Support Team. This way, they can review again the email that was sent to you and check why you're unable to see the "Download the company file created on 02/05/2021" in your Dashboard.
