This still isn't fixed and support is no help
Thanks for posting here in the Community space, abouttodumpintu. We understand the importance of sorting invoices by date in your QuickBooks Self-employed (QBSE) mobile app and are here to help you stay organized.
Beforehand, have you tried the troubleshooting steps provided by my colleague ShiellaGraceA about resetting the app to refresh your data? These steps should be able to fix issues with sorting dates and other concerns while using the app.
However, if you’ve already tried those steps and the issue persists, I recommend contacting our QBSE Support Team again. I understand that you’ve already contacted them, but please be aware that we, in the Community, do not have access to your account due to security reasons.
They can investigate the issue in detail and provide comprehensive troubleshooting steps. They can also initiate an investigation ticket if needed.
Here's how you can reach out to them:

I have done all of that. It's sort by status that's messed up. They must have changed what is considered an update in status. In the past it would be the most recently created were at the top and the ones that had not been paid were pinned to the very top of the list. Then next in line would be most recently paid then after that would be most recently created. Now it appears to be random. If you just sort by date then unpaid invoices could go unnoticed. Also when you are on mobile there's no way to change the sorting. You have to switch to desktop mode. Calling support isn't really an option. I don't know if they have been told to intentionally not help customers or what is going on. I'm not surprised there's a whole industry that has sprung up selling support for QuickBooks. You definitely can't go back to the creators for support.
