Why is there no error log for a processed pymt from a checking acct and the "I have authorization box is not checked"? QB invoice is paid. Reality money doesn't transfer

Does Intuit think that someone would ever initiate payment from a checking acct and not want the money in there acct?

Glad to see and answer your post today, @gordon-azhomeand

When a customer makes a payment via credit card, it usually takes 1-2 business days to reach your bank. While bank transfers (ACH) can take two to seven working days.

These also differ by the following factors:

  • Time of day you enter transactions
  • Weekends and federal holidays
  • The financial institution where transactions are deposited
  • How long it takes for your bank to verify and process electronic deposits

Furthermore, you can contact our QuickBooks Payments team to help you check the status of your transaction.

I include articles with a further overview of the online payment processing of QuickBooks:

Thanks but this does not answer the question. I am describing what I think to be, a logic flaw on the payment processing page...linking the check box being checked to the actual transfer of money

It's my priority to ensure the fund is deposited in your account, gordon-azhomeand.

To start, I'd suggest checking the payment status if it's already processed or not. I'll gladly show you the way.

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to the Sales menu and then select the Deposits tab.
  3. Select the bank deposit you want to review.
  4. From there, you'll see each payment that's part of the daily deposit.

For more details, please see this article: Why are my Funds on Hold?.

I'd also recommend contacting our Payments Support Team to further investigate why the fund isn't deposited yet. They're also equipped with tools to determine the main cause of this.

Additionally, I've included these articles that'll help you manage your payments in QuickBooks Online:
