Keys to Getting More Accounting & Bookkeeping Clients

Hello community! Have you ever struggled to find ways to get more clients as an accounting professional? If so then you’re definitely not alone. It’s totally normal to not know how to go about marketing yourself to increase your clientele, but that’s why I wanted to share some tips from this article in Firm of the Future. #1: Know your target market/client: Knowing your target markets, how they operate, their unique needs and what they look for in an accounting professional is super important. It’s key that you identify one or more markets as it identifies you as a resource.
#2: Be a resource: According to this article, often accountants get the additional role of being an in-house IT expert. It’s important that you embrace it! Your clients need you, and many times they may not have the time or resources to stay on top of tech trends.
#3: Identify your brand: Take some time to brand yourself. Put a small investment into a well-done logo and a website.
