Once, while on a business trip, I decided to thank my biggest advertiser with a baker’s dozen from my fave San Francisco cookie shop. I had to fly the gift box home with me in my carry-on luggage, which was a big deal – I only had room for ONE box! (Oh, the things we do for love.) So tell us…
How do you show your customers how much you love and appreciate their business? What are some creative ways your customers have returned the favor?
Hi
You said it Emily Cowan.
Little thoughtful things go a long way in building a loyal customer base. A long time client of ours had newly contracted us for doing their bookkeeping. They ran a retail business. One day their POS had some problem. Now a POS having a malfunction can be very heart wrenching. Owners can literally watch their business disappearing.
We off course had very limited skills. So we called up INTUIT and a technician from there took remote access to the Clients System and sorted out the problem in hardly 5 minutes. Total time the entire operation took was 15 minutes. Problem solved.
Since then we always have a hearty laugh when we talk about it. Of all the people calling your bookkeepers for a problem in your POS software ! :-) But our calling INTUIT and going that extra mile meant forming solid relationship that only gets stronger.

Absolutely true, and what an AWESOME story, @Sangeethmathew. Thank you so much for sharing it!
