Welcome to the Community, jdrayton.

The steps provided by my colleague are for the QuickBooks Desktop version. It seems like you are using QuickBooks Online (QBO) version. To print the pay stubs in QBO, just follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Payroll menu,.
  2. Select Employees.
  3. Choose Paycheck list.
  4. Tap the paychecks you'd like to print, then press Print.

If you haven't already, make sure you're set up to print plain paper stubs. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon on the top menu.
  2. Select Payroll Settings.
  3. In the Preferences section, press Paycheck Printing.
  4. Choose Plain paper stubs, then press OK.

To learn more about this one, see the Print pay stubs in QuickBooks Online article. Feel free to visit our Payroll page for more insight about managing your payroll in QuickBooks.

I'd like to know how you get on after trying the steps, as I want to ensure this is resolved for you. Just reply to this post and I'll get back to you. Take care always.
