When I go to the Sales Tax page it just says "this agency is partially setup." It does not provide anyway to edit an agency.
Thanks for sharing the error message with me, @dpearcevcc.
Let’s perform some troubleshooting steps to get around this. I recommend accessing your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account on a private window or incognito window.
There are times that stored cache causes unusual behavior to the browser that hinders the performance of your QBO account. Using a private window or incognito help us identify if this is a browser error.
You can use these keyboard shortcut keys in opening a private window:
Once in a private window, you can follow these steps in editing your tax agency:
If you’re able to do edit your agency, go back to your regular web browser and clear its cache to refresh it.
If the issue persists, try using other supported browsers so we can check if this is a browser-related issue.
Furthermore, you can also check out these resources that can help you in your future tasks:
Let me know if you other questions about taxes in your QBO account. Tag me in by leaving a reply and a spring back into action. Have a great day!
This does not work, I still get the same message in an incognito browser. It does not have a menu within sales tax so there are no related tasks. It is just a gray screen with the message.
Since you still have the same error even after performing some troubleshooting steps, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Support. A specialist can pull up you're account, securely, and create a case or ticket associated with your account to be submitted to our engineers for further investigation about this unexpected error.
To do so, here's an article you can read to learn more about how you can reach out to our dedicated support: Contact the QuickBooks Online Customer Support team.
Lastly, I've got you this helpful article for ideas about preparing your tax payment: File and pay Tax/GST.
Stay safe and post again or comment below if you have any other questions.
