How do I cancel my account ?

I'm here to guide you on how to cancel your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

 

The steps for canceling your subscription depend on where you signed up for it. If you purchased through a mobile app store, we can go to your app store to cancel it. Here's how to cancel an account purchased online directly from Intuit:

 

  1. Open a web browser on your computer, not a mobile device.
  2. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as the primary or company admin.
  3. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Subscriptions and billing.
  4. In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel subscription or Cancel online. If you're canceling a trial, select Cancel your trial.
  5. Follow the on-screen steps.

 

You can also follow these steps to cancel your subscription:

 

  1. Log in to the Intuit Account Manager.
  2. Go to the menu screen and click the Gear icon.
  3. Select your email on the Settings page and hit Manage your Intuit account.
  4. Select Products & Billing, then click your company name. Doing so takes you to your subscription page.
  5. Find the product you want to cancel and select Cancel subscription.
  6. Fill out the multiple choice survey on why you're canceling your account and click Continue to cancel.
  7. You'll route to a page that shows product benefits and the last day to use your subscription. Select Continue to cancel. Then, click Got it.

Once you cancel your QBO subscription, you will only have Read-only access to your account. This mode will allow you to view and download it, depending on the data availability and exportation policies after performing the canceling process.
