How can I see the current version of QuickBooks online that I am on?
Where can I see a list of updates and bugs that were resolved in the software.
There should be a list online that tells latest version and what changed in the software in that version.
It might be easier to go to that each morning instead of calling support every morning and having to do the 1 hour Q& A to see if my bugs and issues have been resolved.
In other programs they call them release notes.
Welcome back to the Community, RC125.
There's a few places online where you can find official news about updates Intuit makes to your QuickBooks platform.
Here's a couple of them:
You can also find news about updates to the platform in our QuickBooks Blog.
When it comes to checking the status of QuickBooks, you can check by region on our QuickBooks Status page. This will also show you any known past incidents.
If you spoke with our Customer Care team about a bug your account was/is affected by, they should be adding you to our list of affected users for the investigation if one exists, or if they create one during your interaction with them. Once an account is added to an existing investigation, the email address on file will receive notifications about any updates relating to our case.
Please feel welcome to send a reply if there's any additional questions. Have a lovely Tuesday!
That did not answer either of my questions. I did not ask for news. Let me re write them here again.
1. How can I see the current version of QuickBooks online that I am on? Not essential. I mean version as in release date and version control number.
2. Where can I see a list of updates and bugs that were resolved in the software, not a marketing promotion or monthly recap. Daily updates of fixed bugs. Do you use Canny or is there a website?
I appreciate you returning to this thread for further clarification, RC125
In QuickBooks Online (QBO), the specific version number and release date is unavailable. QBO is a cloud-based platform that receives continuous updates, seamlessly rolling out new features and improvements without displaying exact versions or releases.
We have a website available where you can stay updated on ongoing issues and the status of reported incidents. Go to this link and click the Subscribe to Updates button if you need it: QuickBooks Status.
I'll be around to respond if you have other QuickBooks Online concerns.
Thank you for that status page I was not able to find that no matter how hard I looked yesterday. Even support could not find that page - bookmarked
I would still like to find a place where we can see bug fixes. I have like 5-7 open issues that I call bugs your QuickBooks support team call open investigations.
So lets rephrase question again.
Good morning, @RC125.
Thanks for chiming back in and asking a clarifying question.
With the status page, it shows bigger bugs that are occurring. However, the best route to know if the status is open for an investigation is to contact our Customer Support Team or come back here to see if it's still open.
Make sure to have the investigation number ready so that we can look it up fast and easy for you.
Feel free to reach back out if you have any other questions. Have a wonderful day!
How do I email Quickbooks support I do not want to have a call it takes 30 minutes or more?
How do I email support I do not want to call it takes 30 minutes minimum to have this call and i don't have time for this. I have lost 2 days of work since Thursday of last week with Quickbooks issues. They promised me after that 5 call I would be getting an update no update. Still same issues this morning nothing fixed. No response form Quickbooks. No updates. Nothing.
Thanks for getting back with the Community, RC125.
I can certainly understand how an ability to email our Customer Care team could be useful and have submitted a suggestion about it as of today.
You can also submit your own feature requests while signed in.
Here's how:
Your feedback's definitely valuable to Intuit. It will be reviewed by our Product Development team and considered in future updates. You can stay up-to-date with the latest news about your product by reviewing Intuit's Product Updates webpage.
For now, you can go through our instant messaging chat or request a callback to get in touch with them. You can find detailed steps for doing so in our Contact QuickBooks Support article.
If you're looking for updates to open investigations that your account has been added to, you'll receive these updates through email when there's an update to notify you of on an investigation your account is listed on. In the event you want an update here in the Community, myself and my colleagues can check for you, but you'll need to share the investigation's case number, or detail what exactly it's about.
I'll be here to help if there's any additional questions. Have a great Thursday!
