You've come to the right place, @carla13. I can lend a hand with the tax table.

Version 22022 is currently (as of 1/10/2020) the most recent payroll update. For information on what's included in the table, I recommend the following article: Latest payroll news and updates.

I'm also linking a guide on checking for updates and installing them: Get the latest payroll tax table update.

My tax table version 22002 is incorrect then? My payroll version is 12292021... is this incorrect as well? Does this mean my update is not updating correctly?

Hello there, @carla13.

The most current and accurate rates and calculations for supported state and federal agencies, payroll forms, and e-file and pay options are based on the tax table version you downloaded. Since you have the latest tax table version (22002), you're up-to-date and QuickBooks is updating correctly.

To keep your software updated, you also have an option to set up QuickBooks to automatically download payroll updates as soon as they are available. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help menu and select Update QuickBooks.
  2. Click the Options tab.
  3. Select Yes to turn on automatic updates.
  4. Select Close.

For more information about this, as well as other options to get the updates, check the following article: Update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release.
