My tax table version 22002 is incorrect then? My payroll version is 12292021... is this incorrect as well? Does this mean my update is not updating correctly?

The most current and accurate rates and calculations for supported state and federal agencies, payroll forms, and e-file and pay options are based on the tax table version you downloaded. Since you have the latest tax table version (22002), you're up-to-date and QuickBooks is updating correctly.
To keep your software updated, you also have an option to set up QuickBooks to automatically download payroll updates as soon as they are available. Here's how:
