Re: I am using Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2018. I entered three months of my checking account and deposits into the register suddenly it asked me to enter the bank and its info. I did and a new register opened. How do I merge the 2 registers?
Is there someone local who can help me?
Hi there, @sharri108!
Merging two bank account register is easy.
But if the message prompt says "You cannot merge an account that has online information associated with it into another account", you'll have to deactivate the bank feeds integration first.
In addition, here's an article you can read to learn more about how you can merge an account and other lists: Merge Accounts, Customers, and Vendors.

I live and work in Naples, Florida. I lost everything in the last two hurricanes! All was really lost in Ian and have not been able to catch up since. I really need help; I am back two years in taxes!!!
I am switching from Quickbooks desktop to online. I mostly do the accounting through my bank and credit card input. I have no payroll. I attempted to connect, but it is different than what I am used to on the desktop. It seems that there may be an easier way of working with the system that may reduce the amount of input of deposits , checks and credit card payments.
I am in Los Angeles
