Thanks for letting us know your concerns when converting files from QuickBooks Desktop to Online. At the moment, the conversion process only supports QuickBooks for Windows.
When moving your company files, ensure QuickBooks is up-to-date, and your company file isn’t too big to export. You also want to make sure your Total Targets is less than 750,000 by pressing Ctrl + 1 on your keyboard.
Please note that the file cannot be converted to QuickBooks Online if it exceeds the target limit (750,000). You can only import lists and balances into QuickBooks Online or start from scratch.
You can print a copy of your Sales Tax Liability report to enter adjustment entries after your move. Hre's how:
- Go to the Reports menu.
- Select Vendors & Payables, then select Sales Tax Liability.
- From the Dates dropdown, select All.
- At the top, from the Print dropdown, select Save as PDF.
- Select q folder you want to save it in, name the file, and select Save.
