Hi scott-borowski!

Intuit will be debiting the subscription on the updated billing info. Though your Apple ID will be removed, I still suggest reaching out to Apple Support so they can review your account.

For the detailed steps, here's how to update billing, payment, and subscription info in QuickBooks Online

Post again here if you have other questions. Take care!

Hi, Hop111.

I'm here to provide additional information about you're not seeing the billing and subscription tab in QuickBooks. In this case, you might have bought your subscription via Apple's App Store or Google Play.

If it's the case, you can follow these steps to cancel your subscription:

Cancel QuickBooks Online through an iPhone or iPad.

  1. Go to Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Choose iTunes & App Store.
  3. Click your Apple ID.
  4. Hit View Apple ID.
  5. Enter your password.
  6. Tap Subscriptions.
  7. Choose QuickBooks Online.
  8. Click Cancel.

Cancel QuickBooks Online from an Android device

  1. Go to the Play store app.
  2. Choose the Menu icon, then select Subscriptions.
  3. Click the QuickBooks app.
  4. On the Manage subscriptions window, tap Cancel subscription.

I've also added this article that'll help cancel a QuickBooks Online subscription purchased through an app store.

I'm still here if you have other questions with regards to managing your account. Just post your questions here, I'll respond as soon as possible. Keep safe.

So after I've cancelled my subscription, how to I change the payment method? It is still says "looks like you are on Apple or Google Billing" in the billing and subscription tab. There is no option to change the payment method once my apple subscription has expired.

I've got you covered, austinbb.

I want to make sure you'll be able to change subscriptions.

Once you cancel the subscription, you can clear the app's data to reset the app to its default state. There are places to clear app data and remove cached data:

Here's how:

In your device Settings:

Android

  1. From your device's Settings, select Apps (varies by device).
  2. Choose the QuickBooks app from the list, and then select Storage. Finally, select clear data.

iOS

  1. Setting General iPhone Storage from your device's Settings.
  2. Choose the app that's taking up a lot of space.
  3. To free up the storage without deleting the documents and data for the app, select Offload App.

In the QuickBooks Online app:

Android:

  1. From More Options, select Settings.
  2. Click Refresh Data, and then choose Yes.

iOS

  1. From the ☰ menu, select Help & Feedback.
  2. Hit Refresh Data, and then tap on Refresh.

Then update the app if prompted. Once done, you can resubscribe using a different payment method.

If the issue persists, I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the app and ensuring that you're using the latest version of the QuickBooks Mobile app to help resolve the issue. Here's how:

Uninstall and Reinstall

  1. Touch and hold the app.
  2. Hit Delete App.
  3. Tap Delete.

If you don't use an iPhone, you can use the steps in this link to remove an app on an Android.

Afterward, reinstall the QuickBooks Mobile app using this guide.

Let me know if this helps. I want to make sure that you're able to get back to running your business. I'll be back around shortly.

Every time I try to got to the billing and subscription section of the site, it says i'm only able to manage my payment and subscription through apple.
