Thanks for dropping by the Community, @usery-jain.

You're already on the right track on transferring your date from Quickbooks Online (QBO) to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). The next thing you need to do is to click Learn more again in the Download company data section.

Once done, follow these steps:

  1. Select Get started.
  2. Click Install ActiveX Control Now and follow the steps to install ActiveX.
  3. Once finished, tick Continue.
  4. Select the data you want to export and then Continue.
  5. Review the limitations and Continue.
  6. Enter your contact info and then Continue again.

After that, you'll get an email when your data is ready to export. This usually takes a few minutes, but it may take up to 2 hours for companies with many transactions. Then, check out this article for the next step: Export and convert your QuickBooks Online data to QuickBooks Desktop.

Please leave a comment in this thread if you have any other issues or concerns. I'm more than willing to help. Have a wonderful day!

I'll help make sure you can transfer your data seamlessly, @usery-jain.

The old export process was built on old technology and did not lead to successful conversions for most customers. Thus, QuickBooks recently made some changes to how we move your data. This way, we can ensure your seamless data conversions.

Hence, you're unable to see the Download company data option when performing your data export. No worries, I have some ideas to get you going.

If you want to export transaction data, like invoices, bills, etc., you can visit our QuickBooks Apps page. From there, you can look for a third-party app that can help you move your transactions from QuickBooks Online (QBO) to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

Before you proceed, please consult your accountant to ensure this change is the right one for you. If you don't have one, you can use our Find-an-Accountant tool to look for an expert near you.

Also, I recommend backing up your files before making any changes to keep a copy of them.

If you want to move other transactions, like lists and open balances, you can refer to this article as your guide: Move lists and balances from QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks Desktop.

After exporting your data, you can run the Profit and Loss report both in QBO and QBDT. Make sure to run them on an Accrual basis. This way, you can compare and check if your records match.

In case you no longer need your QBO subscription, you can cancel it anytime.

Drop by in this thread if you have more data management concerns or any QuickBooks-related. I'm more than happy to offer help.
