To get rid of this problem, let's perform a few browser troubleshooting solutions to get the missing option back in QBSE.
You can open a private or incognito window and use it to access QBSE. Sometimes the cache stored in the system can cause the product to misbehave. Check out these keyboard shortcuts:
If you're able to see the Add transaction using a private browser, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Clearing the cache or cookies is the best way to get a clean slate for your browser. Otherwise, using another supported browsers can be a good alternative too.

I'm trying to do the same to reimburse an employee who I entered as a vendor. I entered the 2 bills in QBO as bills and withdrew cash from ATM to pay him back. I don't have a "add transaction" option either. How do I enter the cash transaction to pay him back?
