Hello there, @andy-jt53-gmail-.
I'm glad to see you here posting and welcome to QuickBooks Community. I'll provide steps to ensure that you're properly reconciling and to make sure that your account stays accurate.
You'll make sure you choose the correct bank account when recording a deposit in QuickBooks. Also, the Incorrect Statement date is one of the reasons why the transactions won't reflect when reconciling it or when the transaction is marked as reconciled on the register. You can try to delete the payment and record the bank, then deposit it again.
I’ve also added this article that you can use for future guidance in effectively reconciling your accounts in QBDT: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Desktop.
You can refer to this article to see information on how to fix the issue once your accounts in QuickBooks Desktop don't match your bank statements at the end of reconciliation: Fix issues when you're reconciling in QuickBooks Desktop.
Lastly, here's an article you can read to learn more about reconciliation: Reconcile accounts in QuickBooks for Mac.

Hello and thank you for your reply, I have been using quick books for decades. I know how the reconciliation is supposed to work. I know how to reconcile as I do it for 6 accounts 4 for my business and tow personal. The problem is not on any of your articles. I started to reconcile and soon realized that about 7-10 entries on my register, were on the bank statement as well as cleared, but not on the reconciliation screen! The dates of the transaction were all within the date range of the reconciliation, but did not show up on the reconciliation screen. I purchased support help and the tech had no idea what the problem was even after me explaining it multiple times. The only way to view this happening would be next time I reconcile in a month I will then contact support and have then view my computer to see that your program has a BUG! and I have to pay your to fix your program's BUG. Talk to one of your techs in a month! Cheers Andrew in VT
I came across this issue today. Specifically, a CC Bill Payment that is in the register doesn't show in the reconciliation window (it is well within the date range, transactions before and after show up in the reconciliation window, just no the CC Bill Payment).
I am having the same issue. Trying to reconcile as 6/30/22, I have uncleared transactions showing up in the register/transaction report dated 6/30/22 and prior, yet they are not showing up on the reconciliation as available to clear.
You can uncheck the Hide transactions after the statement’s end date box to get your unclear transactions to show up, @SummerSearsCPA.
To do that, please follow the outlined steps below:
