After September 27th of this year I was no longer able to connect to Chase Bank through Quickbooks Desktop Premiere 2021. I deleted all of our bank and credit card accounts and re-added them. QB says the connection was successful but there are no bank transactions in the bank feeds section and when I run a P&L for the month there is nothing there.
Is anyone else having this issue? I also updated QB and re-added the accounts again but got the same problem. QB says that it's downloading the transactions but they are nowhere to be found.
Hello, sethbou.
Chase banking are still able to connect in QuickBooks Desktop. I also checked our list of open alerts and I can't find anything related to the error message that you're getting.
Most of the time, banking errors are caused by the following:
You can follow these steps to resolve some of the most common banking issues in QuickBooks Desktop:
Once done, restart your computer and download your banking transactions to check if the error message would no longer show up.

I'm not getting an error message. When I go to Bank Feeds and download transactions from our checking account it says Success! Then is says 0 transactions downloaded but there have been dozens of transactions just in the last few days. It is showing the proper bank balance so it is connected to Chase but it's not pulling down the individual transactions at all.
Appreciate the update, @sethbou.

I am having very same issue with QB desktop 2020 and using Bank of America. It started on 11/10/2022. I am using the new Bank of America direct connect, it used to work OK, sometimes it downloads the transactions twice even after approving them once before.
Now, it doent even download transactions. QB connects to bank, updates the balance to show whats there on the bank end, but no transactions are downloaded. This is frustrating. QB is going downhill!
Thanks for joining the thread, @Legacy3.
We've recently updated bank feeds to optimize for a more secure and better banking experience. In your case, you may need to reconnect your accounts to continue with online banking services.
Before that, ensure to update your QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release and create a backup of your company file. This way, we can still restore the company data if issues appear in the process. Then follow the details in this article to refresh your connection for Express Web Connect Bank of America online banking.
When everything's looks good, the next time you use bank feeds, the latest transactions will auto-download like it used to.
Additionally, you may want to remove duplicate transactions if you find one while categorizing them in the system.
Please let me know if you have other QuickBooks concerns to take a look at. I'm always here to help you out more. Take care and have a good one.
Like I said before, I did all that few weeks back and have been using the what you call "new and secure" banking, and reconnected accounts. Please read the problem statements before giving packaged response on forums which is of no use.
The problem is QB stopped getting transactions downloaded for no reason, it was working fine.
I am having the same problem with Bank of America. The last time it fetched transactions was 11/14. I spent a long time with support this morning, and they even did a screen share (doing exactly what I had already done, to disable then reconnect) but still not fixed. This is only happening with Bank of America but some other accounts are working properly.
I'm also having the same problem over the past few days with BofA. QB, PLEASE FIX THIS!!!
I am facing the same exact issue. Its been working fine and since last couple of days QB stopped downloading transactions from Bank of America, but connects fine and no error (Bank of America - New connection)
Many users complained that yesterday in the forum. But now this morning I tried again to see if the issue is fixed, but now I am getting this error when I tried to download from checking account
"Looks like we didn't find the right type of account to link.
That sign-in info was correct, but we can only connect certain types of accounts. You can try a different bank. (2106)"
I deactivated bank feed and re-activated it again and still the same issue
