If you're setting up your company payroll for direct deposit, it can take 1-3 business days to confirm and activate your bank account. Additionally, after giving us your initial bank account information, we'll create a small deposit into your account of less than $1.00. Then, you'll need to input that amount to authorize your account for payroll transactions. For this process, it might be up to 2 days before you see that deposit.
You'll want to read this article to help track the status of your direct deposit setup. Once you're all set up and ready, you may now use this account to pay your employees.
If you're signing up for Merchant Services or QuickBooks Payments, it takes up to 2 business days to receive an approval email. Although, there are times that we may require more information before a decision can be made. When this happens, you’ll get an email with what’s needed.
Once the process is completed, it's time to connect your Merchant account to QuickBooks Online and turn on the Online Payments feature so your customers can pay you at their convenience.
