I'd like to share some important details about importing your data to the online version.
Viewing the data using your mobile device would require a new QuickBooks Online subscription. Since QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online are two separate programs and have different interface, you will be unable to transfer the data back and forth.
If you decide to move your files to the online version, the migration process could take about 30 minutes to complete.

After the process, you can run a Profit and Loss report or a Balance Sheet report in QuickBooks Online.
