I am trying to verify a new bank account. When I enter the debited to checking. I am told it doesn't match the record. No $ or . entered per instructions. What now?

I have been careful to enter the amount without $ signs or decimals (per the instructions), but am still being denied. What can I do now?

Glad to have you here in the Community, @AlieALoha.

I'd like to ensure that you'll be able to verify your bank account successfully in QuickBooks Online. When verifying your bank, make sure the test debits are correct, as shown on your bank statement.

Once done, have them entered in numbers on the Deposit Amount and Deposit Amount sections. You also need to ensure that there are no spaces upon entering the digits.

To give the complete details in this process, please see this link: Verify test transaction.

However, if the problem continues, I recommend asking for another test debits and have it verified afterward. To do this, just follow the same procedure that you made upon connecting your bank. You can check this article for more details: Connect your bank to Online Payroll.

I've also added here some resources about changing bank accounts and managing direct deposit in QuickBooks Online for reference:

Let me know if you have any other concerns, Alie. I'll be around to help. Take care!
