I'm here to guide you through the whole process of moving your data from QuickBooks Online (QBO) to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

Before you cancel, you'll want to export and transfer your QBO data to QBDT. Refer to this article to know the whole process: Export and convert your QuickBooks Online data to QuickBooks Desktop.

 

Then, here's how to cancel an account:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and choose Account and Settings.
  2. Select Billing & Subscription.
  3. In the QuickBooks section, click Cancel subscription.

  4. Click Continue to Cancel, then Continue to Cancel again.
  5. Answer the short survey, then Click Confirm Cancel.
