Where has "deposit" field in estimate template gone? Have checked my settings and the tab is selected for "deposits". It was there until 2 weeks ago. Any advice?

Customer service only available tomorrow but hoping to get this resolved tonight to get these estimates out.

Hi there, aledopartycakes-.

Thank you for visiting in QuickBooks Community. I'll ensure to share further details about the newly established version of the estimate.

QuickBooks are rolling out new versions for estimates and invoices. That said, your workflow for said entries will look different depending on whether you have the old or the new version of estimates and invoices.

You can click this article to view different details on how the new estimates and invoices can help your business and how it works in QBO: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

I'm adding these articles that explain the new feature on how you can manage them to keep work moving and get paid faster:

Let me know if you have additional questions about the new update for invoices and estimates. I'll be happy to help you! Have a great day!

I understand the value and convenience of having the deposit field in the Estimate template, @thehomeenergypros.

However, the option is no longer available in the Estimate template and is only available when creating an invoice in QuickBooks Online (QBO). It would be most beneficial to directly convey your feedback to our Product Developers. They genuinely value your input and encourage you to share your suggestions through the feedback system.

To send your input, here's how:

  1. Open your QBO account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.
  3. Type in your suggestions and then click on Next.

Additionally, you may want to visit this website to gain information about our most recent enhancements and advancements: New features in QuickBooks.

Your feedback is highly appreciated as it allows us to improve our products and services. If you have any additional questions about QuickBooks, don't hesitate to reach out to me. I'm here to provide assistance.
