With one of my Bank accounts, QB will duplicate some transactions and miss others, it only happens with Bluevine??

Hello there, flbnbcleaners! I’m so glad to see your first post in the Community! I understand your online banking experience with Bluevine has some challenges that are impacting your operations. Rest assured, I'm here to help you with a variety of effective solutions to swiftly resolve this issue and get you back on track.

When you connect your bank and credit card accounts to online banking, QuickBooks utilizes various methods to link them. This is great for flexibility, but it can occasionally lead to duplicate transactions. So to clarify, this issue isn't exclusive to Bluevine; it can also occur with other financial institutions.

Let's start fixing your duplicate entries. You'll have to exclude them to remove them from your list. Once confirmed, follow these steps to execute the process:

  1. Go to Transactions, then select Bank transactions.
  2. Select the For Review tab.
  3. Choose the checkboxes of the transactions to exclude.
  4. Hit ExcludeExclude Bank Transactions QBO.png

With your missing data, perform troubleshooting by manually updating your account to bring in files and refresh the connection between Bluevine and the program. Here's a guide to do so:

  1. Navigate back to the Transactions menu, then Bank transactions.
  2. Pick the tile for your linked account.
  3. Click the Update button.  Update Bank QBO US.png

Right after, sign in to your financial institution's website to check for messages or alerts that need your attention. Once you make changes on the page (for example, login credentials and account info), update QuickBooks as well. Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Hover back to the Bank transactions tab in the Transactions menu.
  2. Select the tile for your linked bank account.
  3. Hit the Edit icon.
  4. Choose either Edit sign-in info or Edit account infoEdit Bank Info QBO US.png

If you encounter faults or any issues while downloading your transactions, check out this article to guide you on how to resolve them: Bank errors and missing transactions in QuickBooks Online.

If this matter continues, you can download your missing transactions manually and import them into QuickBooks.

Additionally, I recommend reconciling your accounts regularly (every month). By doing this, you’ll ensure consistency with your monthly statements, which will help maintain accurate financial records.

I truly appreciate your diligence and attention to detail, flbnbcleaners! If you have additional questions or clarifications about the methods I shared above, please don't hesitate to let me know by clicking the Reply button below. I'm always ready to help you out. Take care and have a good one.
