Thanks for your interest in taking the certification, jesliuyang.

Intuit has a free ProAdvisor Certification. You have three attempts to pass the whole exam. If you do not pass in the first three, you can retry after 60 days.

The duration of the exam depends since you'll be provided with modules on each course and has its own time limit. You can check our frequently asked questions about ProAdvisor Certification. Also, you may visit our Training & certification for more details.

Keep on posting here if you have more questions. Wishing you all the best!

QuickBooks Certified User Online online proctored

Thank you for your reply. I got my ProAdvisor Certification last week.

My question is regarding Quick Books Online Certified User Exam.

My question is US$ 149 exam fees for QBCU exam. which allows me how many attempts? If I failed the exam for the first time, may I retaking the exam? Do I need to pay for retaking the QBCU exam? To achieve a passing score, do I need to pay $149 for each time?

I am planning to take the exam online, will books be allowed during the exam?

For retaking the QBCU exam, will all questions be shown up even I did some of the correct last time? Or only missing questions will be tested?

Thank you,

Congratulations on your ProAdvisor Certification, jesliuyang.

I'm here to share some information about the QuickBooks Certified User (QBCU) exam.

QBCU exam is performance-based and designed to measure professional competency in the real-world use and application of QuickBooks software.

The $149 is the cost to take this exam plus the proctoring fee at the testing center of your choice. Generally. the duration of each exam (QBO and QBDT) will take 50 minutes.

In the event that a student didn't pass the exam for the first time, they must wait a minimum of 24 hours before retaking the exam.  If they're still unable to achieve a passing score the second time, the candidate must wait 5 days (120 hours) before they can take the exam again.

Additionally, there is no annual limit regarding the number of attempts a student can take. Please know that this exam is mainly hosted by Certiport. To ensure that you'll get accurate answers for the rest of your questions, I'd recommend directly contacting Certiport representatives.

Lastly, if you need some references in preparing for this exam, you can always check our Community articles and tutorials here.

Feel free to tag my name in your comments if you have any other concerns or QuickBooks-related questions. I'll always have your back.
