Contact Info for Enterprise Payroll- Pin Reset

Can anyone help me with contact information for Enterprise Payroll? My pin has been locked out and I have a direct deposit deadline of tomorrow for 200 employees. Have been on the phone all day only to be told no one could help. PLEASE.I just need to get my account unlocked.

I'd also feel desperate when faced with issues like this. Let me make it up to you by making sure you can reset your direct deposit pin. This way, you can process your payroll seamlessly in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

 

First, your payroll account will be locked out when:

 

  • You've entered an incorrect Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) three times. 
  • The PIN you entered is not valid [Message Code 1001].
  • You may have entered the PIN incorrectly too many times [Message Code 1000].

No worries. I've got all the info you need to get you going.

 

To start, you can fill out a PIN replacement request if you've forgotten your PIN (for QBDT Basic, Standard and Enhanced Payroll). Please make sure to complete the form. Then, fax it to the phone number on the form to receive a new PIN.

Second, you can re-enter your correct PIN if you get the prompt that you typed an "invalid" one. Make sure to turn off the Caps and Num Locks when you enter your PIN. Otherwise, you'll need to use an alternative one.

 

Third, you can re-enter your PIN ( wait for 15 minutes) when QuickBooks prompts you that you've entered them too many times. I think this the closest scenario based on the details you've shared.

No- I have still not heard from anyone and I have faxed the pin reset request.  This is incredibly frustrating.  I cannot get anyone to help at all!!!

I filled out the form, tried to fax... line was busy.  The instructions to reset PIN in not correct.  Instructions:  Employees>>my payroll service>>>billing/bank information.  I do not have the billing/bank information tab.

Hi, @Mmmary.

 

I appreciate you following the steps shared by my colleagues above. Allow me to chime in and help make sure you can reset your Direct Deposit (DD) pin in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

 

The steps you've mentioned above are for the QBDT Assisted Payroll. You may be using either Basic, Standard, or Enhanced payroll that's why you're unable to see the Billing/Bank Information.

 

If that's the case, you have two ways on how to change or reset of DD pin. The first one is through Payroll Account Management Portal.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go back to the Employees menu at the top, then My Payroll Service.
  2. Select Account/Billing Information instead.
  3. Sign in to your Intuit Account.
  4. Go to the Payroll Info section. Under Payroll service PIN click Update PIN.
  5. Enter your old PIN. Create a new PIN and then confirm a new PIN.
  6. Tick Submit.

 

The second option is through Send Payroll Data window. Here's how:

 

  1. In the Employees menu, select Send Payroll Data.
  2. In the Send/Receive Payroll Data window, select Send.
  3. In the Payroll Service PIN window, select Forgot your PIN?
  4. Enter your Admin password in the Password field.
  5. Select OK.
  6. Enter a new PIN when prompted.
  7. Select Submit.
