I (and my clients) are receiving the Direct Deposit email confirmations but NOT the EFTPS "successfully processed" email.
This has gone on for weeks and to have NO resolution from Intuit is just simply unacceptable! Will Intuit cover the "failure to deposit" tax penalties because their QBDT is not operating as required??!!
I am joining this link to hopefully get an update email from Intuit on this issue. Will that happen? What is the expected resolution date?
I am having the same problem. This is clearly an Intuit problem, not a problem with us accountants who have been using QB Desktop for ages.
I have not received any EFTPS e-pay confirmation emails for a week.
Make this a top priority in urgency to fix. We are TRUSTING Intuit and RELYING on this consistent processing. IT IS CRUCIAL!
I received the Direct Deposit confirmation, just not the Tax Payment confirmations.
Spoke with Inuit and got the same answer "We know and are trying to resolve. Please check with your tax agency to confirm the payments have been accepted." Thanks, I have 75 clients I will have to do that with.......
Frustrating for this time of year!
Sorry Intuit, but you are the issue. Still not receiving confirmation emails for payroll tax deposits. You need to get the escalated to TOP PRIORITY. We pay enough money for your software. You need to address the issue and not put it back on the accounting community to figure it out.
Just another example of Intuit not taking responsibility for their bugs and their bots responding to our comments with basic info that we have all already tried. I'm having the same issue, no emails from payroll tax payments. Very frustrating.
With the 1000% increase in payroll service and 1000% increase in QB desktop, you would think there would be a definitive answer. Do us all a favor and quit saying contact us. Post the fix to this and pay the penalties that small businesses have incurred do to the poor service you are giving.
This has nothing at all to do with all the customers SPAM email settings. In some cases these notifications have worked for years.
What we need is an acknowledgement from Intuit that this is broken and a clear timeframe to resolution. Sending customers in circles and taking full responsibility is disingenuous, I've personally been told 6 different stories from Intuit support as an enterprise customer.
This is the king of experience that makes you begin looking at other platforms to move away from Quickbooks.
Own the error, stop jerking your customers around.
just like everyone else I am not getting the following email, which I have been receiving for years with no issues. The last one I received was in November, which seems like that is when the issues has started for a lot of us. Come on Quickbooks, do your Job!! and don't make ours more difficult than it is already. We had faith in purchasing your product EVERY YEAR, give us what we pay for and its not us to solve your issues with your product.

Here's a summary of payroll direct deposit:
I understand the frustration you're encountering with not receiving the direct deposit confirmation emails, which you have been accustomed to getting regularly, @v.frey. I'm here to help.
After adding the Intuit service-related email addresses as "safe senders" in your email account, the problem of receiving email confirmation persists on your end. With this, I encourage contacting our Support team to take this issue to our product engineers and create an investigation case.
For now, let me share how you can view and print payroll confirmation reports that displays the employee name, the direct deposit amount per employee, and the total amount to be withdrawn from your payroll account. Here's how:

I have been using QuickBooks desktop direct deposit for 5 years now and have always received the confirmation email. This pay period I waited 24 hours for the email and have yet to receive it. I have done a search as suggested to others with the same problem. This is the first time this has happened in 5 years. I am pretty sure my email provider has the needed addresses as "Safe Senders". Especially since I processed the EFTPS payment through QB and I received the confirmation email for that.
@Fiscal Manager KLCCOA They have been slow on sending the confirmation e-mails the past couple weeks; I've been receiving mine a day or two after scheduling the direct deposit, usually at 4 in the morning.

Thank you. I hate calling in for QuickBooks payroll help. I always seem to get the wrong department and then it takes them multiple transfers to get me to the correct one. I will give it a couple of days and then go from there.
I have two companies for which I use QB. I get the DD Confirmation email every time for one company but the 2nd company stopped getting it. I put the companies side by side on my desktop and checked all the "preferences" but there were no differences. I could never find a place in the program to activate a DD Confirmation e-mail. I have no issues with my e-mail, and have checked spam and everything else possible. Suggestions?
