Thanks for visiting the Community. I've got you the steps to get your EIN within your QuickBooks Online company.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Account and settings, then click the Company tab.
  3. Under the Company name, you can see the EIN.

How do I find the EIN in the app?

Why in the heck is it that you can now no longer see the EIN, even when you do the authentication?  This is a huge pain, as I have to go look elsewhere to find it.  Go back to you old version where the instruction you gave above work again!!!

Agree 100%.  Quickbooks seems to have a pattern of "improving" things by making them more difficult, and then charging us more for the added inconvenience.

How do I find the EIN in the app?

I cannot believe this issue still has not been fixed!  You cannot view your company's EIN - even after going through the authentication process!  Ridiculous.  This number is needed for each new vendor we sign on.  From reading all the different threads regarding this issue, seems QBO only "fixes" what they deem necessary, not what their subscribers need.  The things that do get fixed, QBO upcharges for the info by adding another tier to the subscription pyramid.
