Hello there, LindseyMem.
I'm here to ensure you're able to confirm the test transaction in QuickBooks. This way, you can verify your new payroll funding account and pay your employees on time.
Verifying the test transaction is required when you connect or update your payroll bank account. Please note that you only get one attempt to confirm your test transaction. To successfully verify, you'll have to enter the test transaction amount in both boxes without a dollar sign or decimal point.
In your QuickBooks account, you can verify your test transaction in two ways. Its either by selecting the payroll task notification in the Employees page or through the Payroll settings window. Let me guide you how.
In case you don't have the New payroll tasks button, here's another way to verify test transaction:
With your payroll account, you can pay your employees with direct deposit. To learn more about how to set up and add employees to direct deposit, kindly check out this article for the detailed steps: Set up direct deposit for employees. It also contains reminders before performing the process.
Moreover, there are a variety of payroll reports that the system offers. This is to effectively manage your employees and monitor your account. Kindly refer to this article for the complete list of payroll reports available in QuickBooks and their description: Run payroll reports.
Please let me know if you have other concerns. I'm just around to help.
hello and thank you for your quick response. When i clicked on the "company" link under bank accounts, it popped up with an error message that said "Bank information cannot be changed because of pending, unprocessed direct deposit paycheck(s)" I did process payroll yesterday to be deposited tomorrow (Friday). The test transaction didn't come over the bank feed until after i processed payroll. Is this going to hold-up payroll? My employees will literally RIOT if they don't get paid on time :(
Let me share additional information, @LindseyMem.

Keep me posted if you have other questions about processing direct deposit payroll through QuickBooks. I'm just a few clicks away.
I signed on Desktop version payroll question. Why it bringing up answers for online version? I will find an answer from Google or wait till tomorrow to verify from bank.
