Hope you're having a fantastic day! Please know that QBSE and QBO have different structures because QBO uses double-entry accounting while QBSE does not. For this reason, we're unable to move your data to QBO, but I'll share information to guide you in setting up your QuickBooks Online and Payroll accounts.
- Follow this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/pricing/
- You can directly select Simple Start and pay with 50% off, or enable the Free trial switch first before selecting it.
- Choose among the Payroll plans as an add-on. Though it goes with the setup, it's a separate subscription.
- Review the products you chose and click Checkout.
- On the next page, enter your email address to sign in. The system will detect if you have an existing Intuit account and ask you to sign in instead. Basically, it's the one you use when signing in to QBSE.
- Follow the on-screen instructions till you finish the setup.
Once you're done with the setup, you can connect your credit card and bank accounts to download your transactions. Then, add them to your books. This is way better than having to enter each of them. You can check out the video tutorials for your visual reference.
By the way, please don't forget to cancel your QBSE subscription once you start working in QBO.
