I want to Opt out of the Workforce completely.. How do you do this?

Excuse me what exactly is "rubbish?"  I was trying to help someone who was using "Time Cards".

Your Quickbooks doesn't look like what?   The link I put that you are replying to is not QB but an outside Timesheet company that lets you make your own Time Sheets that I was offering to someone if that's what they needed.

You can't be "signed up for Payroll" and not know it.  You are either running payroll thru QB or you are not.  It is a separate bill and charge to be running QB Payroll Enhanced or Assisted.   It has nothing to do with your purchase of QB Desktop software.  The software is a separate thing.  Running Payroll thru it is a separate thing.

We are using Quick books time. We have a large number of projects and people, so hand entering is not an option.

I cant set up an employee without an email.  I am a service company with an employee who cant read and write.  This is a crappy option.  You idiots should set up as an opt in not mandatory.  ding ding idiots!

Just trying to help here.....

Exactly what QB are you using?

We're talking about Desktop and you can create a new employee without an email.  I just did it (attaching a screen shot) - You DO have to have a social security number - the items marked with a red asterisk are required.

But those are basic things for a US employee - name, address, social, birthday, hire date.

I'm confused about exactly what you are experiencing.
