Payroll Monthly Fee and Annual Subscription Billing Question

I am trying to understand how the billing process works for "Intuit QuickBooks Payroll Annual Subscription One Employee Included Enhanced".

Last month my credit card was billed $509.55 for "Intuit QuickBooks Payroll Annual Subscription One Employee Included (Billed Annually)", but I am already signed up for Monthly Per Employee where I'm paying $12.90/month for payroll service based on the number of employees.

Why am I being billed annually on top of the per-month pricing?

Payroll Monthly Fee and Annual Subscription Billing Question

Hello there, @ShaneMiller.

For billing issues, we have a specific department that can assist and handle them for you. With that, I suggest contacting our support team to pull up your account and check in detail. This way, we'll be able to figure out why your credit card was billed $509.55 for Intuit QuickBooks Payroll Annual Subscription when already signed up for monthly per employee.

It could be that changes in your billing were not changed yet. That's why you're still billed for an annual subscription. Within your QuickBooks Company file, select QuickBooks Desktop Help from the Help menu.

Alternatively, you can also press F1 on your keyboard to bring up the same Help panel. To route you to the correct support expert, we need to know what type of question you have. Give a brief description of your issue and click Continue.

Another way to contact our support team is by following the steps below.

  1. Go to this link: Contact Us.
  2. Choose your country and QuickBooks Desktop.
  3. Enter a short description of your concern.
  4. Click Search.

Payroll Monthly Fee and Annual Subscription Billing Question

I've had the same problem. As a matter of fact, I just called yesterday in regards to this very same issue AGAIN & no one seems to be able to give me a straight answer!  I was told that by doing a monthly charge I would no longer be charged a monthly fee worth hundreds of dollars for 4 employees. It makes no sense & Intuit Support is useless!! It's very frustrating.

Payroll Monthly Fee and Annual Subscription Billing Question

My company was just billed $1,101.12. I had no idea that intuit bills yearly. This has messed up payroll for employees. I need answers. I pay $25 a month for QuickBooks on-line which is a intuit service. I am extremely confused. I contacted intuit and they can't even seem to find the charge because its pending. I'm left on a silent hold for extremely long periods of times and then the phone just out of the blue is disconnected. HELP!

Payroll Monthly Fee and Annual Subscription Billing Question

I sincerely apologize,

To set the record clear. QuickBooks or intuit had nothing to do with the billing me what was not authorized. It was authorized. It's just that the charge stated Intuit and was an ACH hold. After calling a few times, someone was finally able to assist me properly. I had taken out a loan and I was being billed for the monthly payment. I didn't fully read the terms of the loan, which was my fault. I just couldn't understand why it took so long to assist me, so I wouldn't jump to conclusions. However, its better now. I appreciate the support.
