Payroll overview button does not work

Hi Team,

 

I'm at "Payroll" -> "Overview" Page 

URL: https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/payroll 

I have two things on my TO DO list as the screen shot below.

The second page "Confirm your company info" has a "Let's go" button next to it.

When I click on this button, no action is triggered. 

 

I'm on Mac Laptop, Chrome version "

Version 104.0.5112.79 (Official Build) (arm64)"

This is a likely a software bug.

Payroll overview button does not work

Hello there, @adtuer. I'll provide some solutions so the Payroll Overview button works.

 

As of right now, we haven't received any known issues with the button not functioning. Are you experiencing delays on other pages to load? You'll want to check your internet connection to see if there are any problems.

 

If you only encounter the issue within QuickBooks Online Payroll, it's possible that it's a browser related issue. Let's perform some troubleshooting to rule this out. Access your account first using a private or incognito browser. The following are the shortcut keys:

 

  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Edge: Shift + CTRL + N .
  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

 

If it works, then you'll have to go back to the main browser and clear the cache. This will update your browser and delete any files preventing the product's proper operation. Alternatively, you can use another supported browser to isolate further.

Payroll overview button does not work

I've had this issue since June!!!!!  Every two weeks I spend 20-40 minutes on a call with support, and eventually, they submit to running the payroll manually and are told I'll be updated by IT when it's fixed.  I've never gotten an update and had to call support each pay period.  Last month, their ability to run it manually stopped being an option.  I'm so sick of the lack of urgency on this.

Please know that the issue with the button mentioned above that does not work has been marked as resolved and closed. I see you've previously reached out to our QuickBooks Payroll Support Team. However, I still recommend contacting them again. They have the tools to check your account and do screen-sharing to help you in determining why the said option is still not working on your end.

its been marked as closed as of yesterday after 12 Eastern?  Because I was on the phone with a US support specialist.

Upon checking, I've found that the related investigations with regard to Payroll overview issues have already been resolved. If you're still experiencing the same results, I'd suggest running some troubleshooting steps. It's possible that too much cache accumulated in your browser might caused this behavior. 

 

To start with, access your account using a private or incognito browser. This will help us check if the problem is related to a cache issue and fix it.  Press the following shortcut keys to access this mode:

 

  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Edge: Shift + CTRL + N .
  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N suggest 

 

If you're still getting the same results, I'd suggest getting back to our Payroll Support Team. This way, they can review your account again and provide you with updates about the tickets they've created.
