Paystubs

Hi, this may seem like a simple question, but just what exactly is the "Paid on" date on my paystub? Is that the date I was supposed to have received my paycheck?

It's nice to have you here in the Community, @Geologem. Let me share information about the Paid on date on your pay stub.

Yes, you're right. Paid on is the paycheck date. It is the time when your paycheck is out and ready to receive it. If you want to print your paychecks for your personal record, see this article as your reference: Print paychecks and pay stubs.

You can also view your pay stubs online once your employer has invited you to QuickBooks Workforce. I'm adding these links for more information:

Thanks for the quick reply! I was afraid this would be the answer, as my boss hasn't paid me in two weeks (I'm supposed to be paid weekly), and keeps dismissing it when I bring it up.

If that is the case, then the last two paystubs I've been emailed say they have already been paid when that isn't accurate. He also has dismissed that saying that the paid on date is just the date he approves the hours, not the day I'm paid and it will be fine and the payment will go through eventually. I'm not sure how worried I should be or what steps I should take next. Since I don't trust his direct deposit anymore (it has worked previously and on time!), if I ask for a check, should he be able to get it to me within a few hours using QuickBooks? I don't want to think the worst of him and jump to conclusions, but I also cannot work for free.

We also use the Time app to clock in and out. Is there a way I can download all of my clocked hours into a spreadsheet for accurate documentation of hours worked?

I know how important this matter is, @Geologem. I’m here to provide information to ensure you’ll be able to get your pay as soon as possible.

Payroll records such as timesheets are only accessible by administrators, payroll managers, and users that have access rights or permission.

I recognize how convenient it is to download all your time entries into a spreadsheet to review your worked hours further and get proper documentation. Since this isn’t possible on your end, I recommend reaching out to your employer (boss) to get a copy of your payroll details. You can ask for a Paycheck history report to track your payroll, including payment method and paycheck status.

Once verified and they were successfully processed through direct deposit, you can ask your boss to contact our payroll support team. They can determine the cause of your situation and ensure these transactions will get posted soon.

About creating a check, yes, you can immediately get it. However, the previous transaction must be canceled or settled first. This way, records remain intact and accurate.

Your boss can invite you to QuickBooks Workforce. This platform allows you to print and view your pay stubs, time off balances, and total pay for the year.

Don’t hesitate to reach back out if you have other questions or concerns besides your payroll. The Community team is here to back you up. Take care always!
