We can fix something on your employee’s W-2 depends on your payroll service and if the W-2s have already been filed or not.
If you're using Payroll Core and QuickBooks Online Full Service, you’ll need to contact us to request a correction.
Here's how:
- Sign in to your account.
- Go to the Help menu and click Contact us.
- Enter your concern and select Let's talk.
- Select Get a callback from the next available expert.
- Fill in the necessary information and click Confirm call.
If you find the mistake before you file your W-2s:
You don’t need to create or file a W-2c form. You can just take these steps:
- Fix the issue in your product.
- File your W-2 forms as you normally would.
