Form 940 - past due balance

To reach our support team, follow these steps. I'm also going to provide you with some helpful steps for future reference on how to record your liability payments in QuickBooks, that way you shouldn't encounter unexpected past due balances. 

1. Click Employees on the top menu.
2. Choose Payroll Center.
3. Hit Pay Liabilities.
4. Select Federal 940.
5. Tick View/Pay.
6. In the Memo column, enter that the payment already made in the EFTPS.
7. Choose Check.
8. Tap Save & Close.

It's not a matter that I haven't paid the liabilities - I have.

When I left my office Thursday afternoon, everything was fine.

I opened Quickbooks on Monday morning to be greeted by a past due notification that I had outstanding payroll liabilities for quarters ending Sept 2019 and Dec 2019. 

I assume it's because of an up-date that was done by Quickbooks. 

I am also having problems with the homepage being "off" somehow.

Anyone else have this problem??
